Retired Maj. Gen. James E. Livingston rode along with an East Cooper Meals on Wheels volunteer driver to deliver meals and visit with several military veteran recipients. Livingston retired from the Marine Corps in 1995, following more than 33 continuous years of active duty.
The Trident Technical College Foundation and the Culinary Institute of Charleston will host Bubbles & Blingo fundraiser from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., May 11 at the College Center on Thornley Campus in North Charleston.
Sponsorships and tickets are available for the event, which will raise money to support Trident Technical College. More than 300 guests are expected for the fundraiser, which will include food and bingo, as the Culinary Institute of Charleston students and faculty prepare and serve brunch to attendees.
