Holy City Brewing is partnering with the Charleston County Public Library for Friends of the Library Pint Night. For every Pilsner pint sold from 4-10 p.m. on Aug. 12, Holy City Brewing will donate $1 back to Charleston Friends of the Library.
The Charleston Parks Conservancy will host its Party for the Parks fundraiser from 6-10 p.m. Oct. 29 at Colonial Lake. Proceeds will go toward the Charleston Parks Conservancy’s work beautifying and maintaining more than 20 of Charleston’s city parks.
This annual event is returning for its 10th anniversary after being canceled last year because of the pandemic. This year’s theme will be celestial, with local food, cocktails and live entertainment. Tickets go on sale Sept. 14 at www.partyfortheparks.com.
Warrior Surf Foundation will host its 5th Annual Surfboard Auction & Raffle from 6-9 p.m. Aug. 28 at Bohemian Bull. All proceeds benefit the Warrior Surf Foundation’s mission to provide free surf therapy, yoga, wellness classes and community to veterans struggling with PTSD and other mental health challenges.
Now through 8 p.m. on Aug. 28, surfers can go online to purchase raffle tickets and bid on three autographed boards from music legend Jimmy Buffett’s private collection, a three-night stay at Swell Guatemala or a week vacation on Folly Beach.
