A nonprofit organization that provides bikes to those that need reliable transportation recently purchased an office building in downtown Columbia.

Colliers South Carolina’s Mary Winter Teaster recently represented Cola Town Bike Collective in the purchase of a 2,220-square-foot building located at 709 Elmwood Avenue.

Cola Town Bike Collective is a nonprofit organization that provides bicycles for people who need reliable transportation to get back and forth to work and other needs. The organization services bikes donated by the community and passes the bikes to a new owner free of charge.

Cola Town Bike Collective had been leasing this location for years and through the generosity of donors was able to purchase the property.

“It was a pleasure working with Scott Nuelken in securing the organization’s location and home,” Teaster said. “Its service to the community is remarkable, and it was exciting to see the community outreach supporting Cola Town Bike Collective."

Teaster is a Senior Brokerage Associate with Colliers South Carolina with an emphasis on local small businesses and nonprofit organizations.
