Integrated communications firm Flock and Rally has purchased a building at 1817 Gadsden St. in the Arsenal Hill district to become its new headquarters after extensive renovations this spring.

The firm is currently headquartered at 701 Whaley St.

The Gadsden street building, built in 1967, is located across the street from the governor’s mansion. Architecture firm 1×1 Design is handling the interior, while Kirk Construction is managing renovations. Robin Dial of Dial Real Estate LLC provided brokerage services and First Citizens Bank managed financing.

Partners Debi Schadel and Tracie Broom founded Flock and Rally in 2010. The agency manages communication companies for a variety of clients including the Central Carolina Community Foundation, EngenuitySC, the BullStreet district, the University of South Carolina and the S.C. Technical College System.

“Our mission is to rally our community around great ideas,” Broom said. “We are excited to expand to a much larger space that will accommodate future growth.”
