Teak & Table Outdoor opens King Street showroom

Outdoor furniture manufacturer Teak & Table Outdoor has opened a new flagship showroom in downtown Charleston at 656 King St.

The South Carolina-based company began operations at the 9,500-square-foot facility on Sept. 24, closing down its Mount Pleasant location in the process.

“This beautiful facility will now be home to our corporate offices, e-commerce team and new showroom reflecting the vibe of our company and new locale,” co-founder Trevor Ferguson said in a news release. “We look forward to seeing Charleston visitors and residents here.”

The store is open seven days a week, from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Sundays.

Beyond designing outdoor furniture for the home, Teak & Table works with hospitality operators to design, produce and deliver custom sets for their businesses. The Charleston showroom will serve as a hub for home- and business owners alike to browse and shop the latest in outdoor home décor.

Joseph Purze of CBRE represented Teak & Table in the leasing of the building.

“We are continuing to see population growth and an uptick in retail activity in the Charleston area,” Purze said. “This lease reflects the growth and shows the strength of the Charleston market in attracting retailers who see opportunity to expand their customer base in this populous city.”

Teak & Table has another flagship showroom in Bluffton and plans to expand into new markets in the future.
