Holder Properties says renovations to Marshside at Nowell Creek Village are paying off in new leases. (Photo/Provided)Holder Properties has secured two new tenants, Q4Launch and Cranston, for Marshside at Nowell Creek Village, new Class A office space on Daniel Island.

The company said in a news release that the renovation has been successful in attracting new tenants, with the leases to Cranston and Q4Launch bringing the total leased space to more than 70,000 square feet.

Cranston, a firm that offers civil and structural engineering, landscape architecture, planning and surveying services, has made Marshside the company’s Charleston office. From its space on the first floor, the Cranston team has views of Beresford Creek and the surrounding marshes.

“We were in an older space previously and found Marshside offered the right balance of new, contemporary working space, building amenities, expansion opportunities and access to the outdoors,” Matthew Randall, design group manager of Cranston, said in the news release. “We believe our office at Marshside will serve as a valuable recruiting and retention tool.”

Q4Launch, a Charleston-based digital hospitality marketing company, recently moved into 4,000 square feet at Marshside. A growing company in the hospitality marketing space, Q4Launch is relocating to Daniel Island from its office in Mount Pleasant.

“We are excited about our space at Marshside,” Q4Launch General Manager Kelly Phillips said in the release. “We wanted to find a building that fit our team’s needs, not only a great office space but simply the best space for us to collaborate and grow together as a company.”

Joyce Beach at CBRE represented Q4Launch. Cranston was represented by Jon Chalfie and Hailey Clifton at Landmark Enterprises. Holder Properties represented Marshside in both transactions.

“We are thrilled with the market’s response to the building and are enjoying seeing tenants move in, and start using the spaces,” Billy Cooke, head of leasing at Holder Properties, said in the release.

The renovations to Marshside were designed by the architecture firm Gensler. Nowell Creek Village is a 36-acre waterfront development bounded by Nowell Creek and Beresford Creek located on Daniel Island, a master-planned community.
