Greenville office park sold

A nearly 144,000-square-foot office park in Greenville has been sold.

Office brokerage team Taylor Allen, Brantley Anderson and Bailey Tollison of Colliers South Carolina partnered with Ten-X in the sale of Piedmont Center, an office park located at 33 and 37 Villa Road, to a regional office investor, according to a Colliers news release.

Piedmont Center is situated on a nearly 9-acre parcel and consists of two buildings, a four-story building and a five-story building, featuring an assortment of office suites in varying sizes and designs, the release stated. As a part of the cluster of prestigious commercial properties existing in Greenville, Piedmont Center offers accessibility with prominent visibility in a premier location.

Financial terms of the deal and the identity of the investor were not revealed.

“Piedmont Center’s strategic positioning generated a lot of interest from investors across the country,” said Allen, vice president at Colliers, in the release. “We enjoyed partnering with Ten-X and are excited that we were able to successfully close the portfolio in record time."

The office park went up for auction and Colliers was able to generate national interest from various types of investors, the release stated. Ultimately, Colliers was able to secure a regional office investor who owns multiple office buildings in the market and is expanding its Upstate holdings.
