Columbia event venue purchased by restaurant owner

A 7,000-square-foot event venue off Bush River Road was recently purchased by the owners of several popular Columbia area restaurants.

Crawford Prezioso of Colliers South Carolina represented M Garden LLC in the transaction.

The venue, known as M Garden, was purchased by the owners of the well-known Miyo’s restaurants. The property will continue to serve as an event space for weddings, family gatherings and company events.

“This property was a unique find because there aren’t many turnkey event venues for sale or on the market in Columbia,” Prezioso said. ”We were able to secure a favorable deal for a local business owner, and this will be a very promising venue moving forward with an experienced operator.”

Prezioso is a senior brokerage associate who represents owners, landlords, purchasers and tenants in the leasing and sale of commercial properties throughout Columbia and central South Carolina.
