The residence at 2 Concord St., which was listed for sale at $7.95 million in November, was originally a degaussing station for the Navy. It was fully renovated in 2010.

The 6,000-square-foot property includes a main house and a guest house, as well as a 240-foot private dock. The main house sits atop concrete pilings above the water. The grounds total 2.7 acres with stormwater managed on-site with tanks that supply all the water for irrigation and landscaping.

Helen Geer, president and broker-in-charge of William Means Real Estate, represented the sellers.

“The property at 2 Concord St. offers the only opportunity to live atop Charleston Harbor,” Geer said. “Along with the views, the property offers the ultimate luxury lifestyle with waterfront living in historic downtown Charleston.”

The property was sold by the S.C. Ports Authority in 2006 for $5.25 million, according to Charleston County property records.
