New real estate firm opens in Charleston

A new real estate firm has opened in downtown Charleston. The Exchange Co. was founded by eight real estate agents with experience selling residential real estate in the Lowcountry.

Carter Rowson, founding partner and broker in charge, said all of the agents have a like-minded approach to selling real estate, which is why collaborating made sense.

“We’re all skilled agents that have been in the business for a long time, and we’re just happy to have a little more control over our future and being able to represent our clients to the best of our abilities moving forward,” Rowson said.

The Exchange Co. is headquartered at 49 Calhoun St. The company’s agents have all been working in the Charleston area for more than 10 years.

“It’s our hope that clients will continue to see us as navigators and trusted advisers in the Charleston market, and we look forward to incorporating them into The Exchange Co. family,” Rowson said.

The Exchange Co. currently has 12 properties listed for sale ranging from $216,300 to $3.26 million, and one property for rent.
