Cliffs Realty continued to break records in sales during 2021, bringing in $247 million through a 99% increase in transactions since the beginning of the pandemic.

The developer also boosted residential volume by 90% over the past two years, while $44.7 million worth of sales are closed or pending across The Cliff’s seven locations.

“At The Cliffs in 2021, we again saw record-breaking sales driven by the relentless interest in our seven mountain and lake club communities which are located in irreplaceable and beautiful settings, offer unrivaled access to the outdoors, as well as privacy and security, all of which have become priorities during the pandemic,” Rob Duckett, president of The Cliffs, said in a news release. “Amidst this historic growth, we expanded Cliffs Realty to The Cliffs at Walnut Cove, to complement the investment in new real estate development and homebuilding programs under the leadership of South Street Partners.”

During 2021, The Cliffs at Walnut Cove near Asheville opened its gates, leading to sales of $13.9 million, 593% increase in sales volume from the year’s first quarter to the last.

The Cliffs at Keowee Falls, The Cliffs at Keowee Springs and The Cliffs at Keowee Vineyards, brought $126.9 million in sales volume for 2021 across 172 transactions, an increase of 28% from 2020.

At the Cliffs at Glassy, The Cliffs at Mountain Park and The Cliffs Valley, Cliffs Realty closed 174 transactions for a sales volume of $106 million , an increase of 94% from 2020.

The company credits Cliffs Builders, a construction program that marries custom-build and built-for-sale solutions for some of its annual growth at communities like Solstice Park at Keowee Springs.

The Cliffs is partnering with architectural firms Hart Howerton and Lake|Flato on plans for residential construction, as well as The Cliffs at Keowee Springs’ Lake Club, which is in the early stages of the construction process.

The Cabin at The Cliffs at Mountain Park in Marietta is also undergoing extensive renovations scheduled for completion in Spring 2022.
