Popular national clothing chain J. Crew is making a return to Trenholm Plaza in Forest Acres.
A J. Crew Factory store is set to move into a spot in between the Fresh Market and Granger Owings later this spring, according to reports from Forest Acres city officials.
Construction has started on the new store, but no specific opening date is available.
J. Crew originally had opened in the shopping center off Forest Drive in 2014 in a space formerly occupied by Books-A-Million. That store closed in early 2021 after the national chain filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Other J. Crew Factory locations in South Carolina can be found in Greenville, Gaffney, Bluffton and Myrtle Beach.
The popular retailer offers clothing for men, women and children.
