Ron Clyde has been in real estate in Upstate South Carolina since obtaining his real estate license in 1979. Now owner and Broker-in-Charge of Clyde Realty LLC, in Simpsonville, which specializes in commercial real estate, residential sales, investment properties and property management, Ron established the firm in 1993 following his career with Prudential, C. Dan Joyner and ReMax Realty Professionals Inc. Over the years, Ron has been involved in every aspect of the company’s residential, multi-family, office, commercial and industrial brokerage. He has been active in many land developments, beginning with successfully negotiating the completion of Hudder’s Creek subdivision in Simpsonville in 1990.

ClydeRon specializes in land, residential, investment and resort brokerage. In addition to seller brokerage, Ron specializes in buyer representation. While no longer actively appraising properties, Ron completed all courses required for residential appraisal license in 1993. He also has 25 years’ experience as a construction project manager. Ron attended the University of South Carolina in Columbia, majoring in computer science. Ron is committed to continuing his real estate education and has completed numerous courses to that end.

 As a certified Emergency Medical Responder, a senior member of the National Ski Patrol, and a Level II certified Professional Ski Instructor of America alpine ski instructor, Ron is an active contributor to the first aid community. Through his NSP and PSIA activities, Ron offers a wealth of referral services to investors and to vacation homeowners who are looking for resort properties throughout North America.

As an investor in income producing properties, Ron can help clients navigate capital gains taxes as well as advise on investment grade acquisitions. One of his specialties has become tax deferred exchanges using the IRS Section 1031 rules to surrender and to replace real properties.

Ron’s years of experience truly make him an expert in Upstate South Carolina’s real estate market and an indispensable resource for his clients.
