Getronics, which specializes in end-to-end information and communication technology solutions, is establishing its global service center in Greenville County. The $1.63 million investment is creating 500 jobs, according to the S.C. Department of Commerce.
The new global service center will be located at 650 Executive Center Drive in Greenville. The company already operates a retail software services group at 510 Airport Road, Suite E, in Greenville.
"Our new global service center is a big deal for us because it represents a significant investment in our people, in our customers and in our Greenville community. We are excited because we have been able to greatly expand both our workforce and operations in Greenville,” Nana Baffour, Getronics chairman and group CEO, said in a news release. “Our new state-of-the-art facilities will support not only our associates, but greatly enhance our ability to support Getronics clients throughout North America and the rest of the world."
Getronics has nearly 9,000 employees in 23 countries across Asia Pacific, Europe, Latin America and North America, the release said. The company provides business transformation expertise in managed workspace, applications, industry-specific software solutions, multi-cloud management, unified communications and security services.
