Workshops to offer fraud, financial literacy tips

Listen to this articleThe Columbia Parks & Recreation Department and AARP are offering free educational workshops for adults ages 55 and older on topics ranging from fraud to financial literacy.
The first workshop will be held Feb. 27 from 10 a.m. until noon at the Busby Street Community Center at 1735 Busby St. It will focus on how to recognize and protect yourself from fraud or scams. Light refreshments will be served.
Workshops will be held on the last Wednesday of each month through November, with the final workshop scheduled for Dec. 18.
