Workshop set for global business discussion, training

The World Affairs Council Upstate and Upstate SC Alliance have scheduled “Global Fluency: Cross-Cultural Communication for Business Training” on Tuesday, April 23, at 10 a.m., at the Clemson One building in downtown Greenville.

The event will feature a workshop to develop strong and effective cross-cultural business skills, an expert panel discussion and a networking reception, according to a news release. Brad Gosche, senior director of the Global Fluency Institute in Columbus, Ohio, will lead the workshop.

The half-day workshop will be followed by a panel discussion about global business dealings and will feature Pete Selleck, retired president and CEO of Michelin North America, Ralph Heredia, vice president of business development for Zipit Wireless and Bonnie Sun, vice president of strategy and compliance for Greenfield Industries.
