Hamby Catering is offering a brunch menu for Mother’s Day. The meal serves four to six people and costs $75.

Menu items include a selection of quiches, biscuits and jam, and mimosas. A Make-Your-Own-Cocktail kit can also be included for $30, including one bottle of Cuvee Brut and choice of either peach nectar or fresh-squeezed orange juice.

Hamby has also partnered with Stephanie Gibbs Events to offer flower arrangements. Each arrangement costs $75 and will include the designer’s choice of local seasonal flowers. Arrangements can be picked up or delivered with the meal.

Orders must be placed by noon May 7. Delivery service will be offered until capacity is reached. Pickups will take place May 9 at either Market at Hamby location. Pickup at The Market in West Ashley, 925 St. Andrews Blvd., will be available 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pickup at The Market on Daniel Island, 20 Fairchild St., will be available 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

For every brunch package that is purchased, Hamby Catering will donate a portion of the proceeds to Feeding Our Heroes S.C., which helps provide meals for local health care workers.


The Gibbes Museum of Art will host Gibbes on the Couch on Thursday. The event supports the museum and its culinary partners who were scheduled to participate in Gibbes on the Street, the museum’s annual fundraiser for its visual arts educational programs.

Participants are asked to make a donation to support the museum’s educational programs. The Gibbes also encourages participants to support local restaurants by ordering takeout for the night.


Duvall Catering & Events is offering a Mother’s Day package for $125. The meal includes biscuits, salad, pimento cheese heirloom tomato pie and dessert. It also comes with a bouquet of flowers, a bottle of wine, a cheese plate and assorted pastries.

Orders must be placed by May 6. Packages can be picked up May 9 at Duvall’s office, 2816 Azalea Drive in North Charleston, or delivered for free within 20 miles.
