Hardscoop Distillery is offering limited-time alcoholic ice cream flavors available through Dec. 31. One dollar from each pint sale will go toward Palmetto Paws. Flavors include bourbon apple cider, peppermint stick and eggnog.
The S.C. Restaurant and Lodging Association is seeking nominations for the 68th Annual Stars of South Carolina Hospitality Awards, honoring the best in the state’s hospitality industry. The awards will be held Feb. 1 in Columbia.
Nominations must be submitted by midnight Dec. 15.
Farmstand will be at Dashi from 4-8 p.m. Dec. 5 to sell a variety of local and regional produce and products. Items include Ashe County cheese, pastured eggs from Johns Island, Palmetto Farms grits, Hillside Orchard cider, baked goods and gift baskets. Kids will get a free gift bag.
Farmstand donates 10% of all proceeds each week to the Lowcountry Food Bank.
Local paint studio For the Love of Art will also be at Dashi from 4-6 p.m. Dec. 17 for a paint-and-sip event on the patio. Starting Jan. 2, the studio will return to Dashi from 4-6 p.m. every first Saturday of the month.
Tickets are $35 and include all necessary supplies and instruction from a local artist. Food is not included in the ticket price.
Supplies are sanitized before and after each paint session, and guests are required to wear masks while not eating or drinking.
82 Queen is offering event space this holiday season. The venue includes nine dining rooms and a courtyard. The space can accommodate small groups or gatherings of up to 40 people in its different room sizes.
The minimum fee will be waived for those who book their private event before Thanksgiving.
