A pop-up business school is coming to Charleston for 10 days next month to help budding entrepreneurs launch their business.
Each day will include a morning session from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and an afternoon session from 1:30 to 3 p.m.
Courses will teach attendees how to start a business, how to promote and grow their business, how to navigate legal aspects, how to network, and how to negotiate, among other topics. Attendance is free and participants do not have to attend every day.
The PopUp Business School in Charleston is sponsored by the city of Charleston, the Medical University of South Carolina, former Benefitfocus CEO Shawn Jenkins, Baker Motor Co., Citadel Mall and the law firm Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick LLP.
