Prysmian Group recruiting engineering and sales employees

Prysmian Group is seeking new engineering and sales talent for its production facilities worldwide through its Make It and Sell It recruitment programs.

A global leader in the energy and telecom cables and systems industry, Prysmian Group opened a research and development center at its North American headquarters in Lexington last week.

Sell It is a three-year recruitment program designed to help new employees quickly learn Prysmian Group’s business, products and culture. Ten recruits from within North America will be selected for the program, organized by the Prysmian Global Sales Academy in partnership with renowned business schools from around the world. Ideal candidates will have three to five years of sales experience with a background in business, engineering or chemistry.

The selection process has begun and is expected to conclude in May.

Ten potential engineers will also be selected into Make It, a four-year program of Prysmian Group Academy that educates recruits on the group’s manufacturing processes and products. The program includes a one-week induction at Prysmian Group’s worldwide headquarters in Italy, followed by two weeks of training at its manufacturing academy in Turkey. Ideal candidates for positions including process, maintenance, design and quality engineers should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering and three to seven years of manufacturing experience.

The selection process is expected to conclude in May.
