“This year’s event brought over 80 sponsors and hundreds of community and business leaders together as we celebrated the partners who join with us to produce a high-quality workforce,” Keith Miller, president of Greenville Technical College, said in the release. “Thanks to the businesses and individuals that invest in education, we are able to help students gain the relevant skills they need to succeed while ensuring that employers can find qualified talent.”

The event raised more than $150,000 in unrestricted funds, according to the release.

“The difference our donors make cannot be overstated,” Ann Wright, vice president for advancement with the Greenville Tech Foundation, said in the release. “This year, we honored a graduate who is paying it forward, a foundation that provides scholarships, equipment and emergency funds, and a company that is helping us create the aerospace industry’s future workforce. We are grateful to Dodie Anderson, the Jolley Foundation and Lockheed Martin along with all the companies, individuals and organizations that support our students.”
