Broadstreet.net, a digital marketing company headquartered in Camden, is expanding with the opening of a new office in Lancaster.

The expansion comes as a response to the growing demand for digital marketing services in the region and demonstrates the company's commitment to better serving its local and regional clients, a Broadstreet.net news release stated.

Broadstreet provides search engine optimization (SEO) for small businesses who want to find new customers and increase sales through a strong online presence.

“SEO is what makes some businesses show up at the top of your search results and others hard to find online,” said Tom Sliker, founder and president of Broadstreet, in the release.

Sliker said that Lancaster was an obvious choice for expansion.

“Lancaster County is experiencing rapid growth right now, and it is a great place to do business. With the influx of new residents, it’s more important than ever for a business to show up at the top of Google,” he said.

Lancaster County ranks third in South Carolina for population growth and ranks highest in one-year and two-year population growth in the Charlotte metro area.

“Broadstreet brings tremendous capability to our membership,” John McCain, president of the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce, said in the release. “Our networking events will give Broadstreet an opportunity to share their knowledge and expertise to our community.”
