Local nonprofit I Serve With Joy and Healthy Blue SC are collaborating to bring a Drive Thru Community Baby Shower Experience to 100 expectant and new mothers. The event will take place on Tuesday, June 13 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Golden Corral at 4968 Centre Pointe Drive in North Charleston. Each mother will receive a meticulously prepared baby bag brimming with essential items including diapers, wipes, cozy clothing, and other indispensable necessities.

ISWJ’s Founder Joy Campbell is excited to offer this meaningful initiative.

“With the soaring costs of baby essentials and the challenges faced by new moms, I Serve With Joy is honored to step in to provide a profound and invaluable support system. Our goal is to empower and uplift these incredible women by showering them with a tangible expression of our love and care.”

Leading up to this event, community members and businesses are invited to drop off donated items to the Golden Corral in North Charleston; South Atlantic Bank at 40 Calhoun St./Suite 100 in Charleston or at their 930 Johnnie Dodds Boulevard/Mount Pleasant locale; Junction Kitchen at 4438 Spruill Ave. in North Charleston; or at the Park Circle Creamery at either their 1069 E. Montague Ave./North Charleston or 2507 North Main St./Summerville locations.
