Wateree Community Actions Inc. is hosting a free community event called Mayfair “A Community Actions Awareness and Empowering Event”, on Saturday, May 19th, 2018 from 11am to 3pm at the Drew Wellness Center.

The purpose of this Mayfair is to bring awareness to the community about Community Action agencies and the programs and services that are available to them. We also want to empower our community to become stronger and better through collaboration with other organizations throughout the community. The mission of Wateree is to increase individual, family, and community self-sufficiency. To this end we want to invite Richland County residents, especially the economically disadvantage to this empowering event. There will be a wealth of information as well as fun, games, and food as supply allows, to those attending the event.
