The VentureSouth Summit, to be held in Greenville Dec. 5-6 at the VentureSouth headquarters at 225 S. Pleasantburg Drive, will bring together investors for networking and training, and this year will feature a new element. Through a partnership with Venture Carolina, the South Carolina Department of Commerce, and the South Carolina Research Authority, the organization has expanded its entrepreneurship education being offered during the summit.
“We are very excited about this year’s expanded educational content. The VentureSouth Summit is a unique event. Past summits have consistently brought more than 200 investors together for events related to VentureSouth, but perhaps more impactful is the comprehensive education delivered that is specifically catered to both investors and entrepreneurs,” said Charlie Banks, VentureSouth managing director, in a news release. “Our experiences over the past decade of investing in over 60 companies has given us a distinctive vantage point of what works for entrepreneurs and investors, and this curriculum is a great byproduct of that experience.”
