The Greenville Chamber has announced the 35 participants in its 47th Leadership Greenville class, sponsored this year by Bon Secours St. Francis.
The 10-month leadership development program delves into issues impacting Greenville County and prepares participants to provide “quality, dynamic leadership,” according to a news release. More than 2,200 alumni have graduated from the program since 1973 including school board members, city and county councilors, judges, business leaders and members of the General Assembly and U.S. Congress.
Participants were selected for the program based off their essays, professional resume and involvement in the community. This year, the class will have both virtual and socially-distanced in-person elements, according to the release.
