The importance of voting will be the topic of a panel discussion at Benedict College tomorrow.

Panelists including Democratic gubernatorial candidate James Smith and running mate Mandy Powers-Norrell and Columbia City Councilwoman Tameika Isaac-Devine will address how voting particularly matters for millennials during the #RealMenVote panel.

The panel, presented by Benedict’s chapter of Collegiate 100 and 100 Black Men of Greater Columbia, will begin at 6 p.m. in the David H. Swinton Campus Center Ballroom at 1616 Oak St. It will be moderated by Cynthia Pryor-Hardy of WACH Fox 57.

National organization 100 Black Men of America is leading a campaign to register black men to vote through the #RealMenVote100 Mission. The campaign also aims to encourage black men to take people to polls on Election Day and to serve as poll monitors to ensure the fairness and integrity of the election process.
