Virtual fair to focus on health care careers

Listen to this articleThe South Carolina Health Care Virtual Career Fair, featuring 12 state agencies looking to fill a variety of positions, will be held Feb. 2.
The career fair, which will take place from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m., will include career booths and the chance for job seekers to take part in a video chat or schedule a time to talk to a human resources representative.

Participating agencies include the S.C. Department of Corrections, the S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control, the S.C. Department of Juvenile Justice and the S.C. Department of Mental Health, along with Greenville, Midlands, Northeastern and Orangeburg-Calhoun technical colleges.
Open positions include chemists, health educators, licensed practical nurses, microbiologists, nursing assistants, physical and occupational therapists, registered nurses and speech and hearing therapists.
