Bon Secours St. Francis kicked off its 35th Festival of Trees on Nov. 30 with themed evergreens greeting visitors at Greenville’s Courtyard Marriott Downtown, Embassy Suites by Hilton-Riverplace and Hyatt Regency. Funds raised by donors and sponsors during the event will go to the hospital foundation’s unrestricted benefit fund.

CountyBank Free Skate Night

Anderson's Carolina Wren Park has turned into a winter wonderland for the holiday season. Ice skaters of all ages can try out their blades on the city’s synthetic ice rink until Jan. 5 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. during the week, 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays at 111 E. Whitner St., Anderson.

This Friday, CountyBank Holiday Ice will host a free skate night 5 p.m.- 9 p.m.

Downtown Gaffney Drive-Thru Christmas Parade

The city of Gaffney is keeping its annual Christmas tradition alive despite the COVID-19 pandemic with a drive-thru parade this Friday from the intersection of Corry Street and S. Limestone Street through downtown to Henry L. Jolly Park at 102 Railroad Ave. Lasting from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., the parade will feature stationary floats and entries that are viewed by visitors driving by in their vehicles, according to a news release.

Santa Claus also be available from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. for socially distanced photos.
