The development group that brought The Warehouse at Vaughn’s in Simpsonville, Warehouse at Midtown, and the recently announced City Market at BridgeWay Station in Mauldin, just opened a new bourbon bar and restaurant concept at Hampton Station in Greenville on Wednesday.

Bourbon Street at Hampton Station, 1320 Hampton Avenue Extension, is under the Dine Development Group LLC umbrella, which is a group known for the development of food halls in the Upstate, including at BridgeWay Station in Mauldin.

Built in the 1990s, Hampton Station was an old cotton warehouse, according to a post on Bourbon Street’s Facebook page.

The bar top was purchased from the former Liberty Taproom.

“We love that it already has a history. We moved this 60 foot long bar piece [and] it is a showstopper. Reclaimed lumber from the warehouse itself can be seen everywhere you look in this amazing building,” the Facebook post stated.

“This is a date night destination with a full bar and 26 taps,” the post added. “In addition to housing one of the largest bourbon collections in Greenville, we are adding tequila to our shelves. From fine sipping tequila to the most obscure, hard to find tequila.”

Although it doesn’t have a full menu available at this time, Bourbon Street will be serving handmade gourmet burgers, grazing boards and other steak and seafood chef-prepared dishes, craft bourbon cocktails along with other bourbon selections in addition to its tap selection of local and national beers.

“Our ongoing goal with this development is to offer guests a wide array of unique, exciting destinations, and Bourbon Street will fit right in,” said Sam Mitchell, development associate of Urban Realty Partners, the developer of Hampton Station. “This concept brings a delicious menu of burgers and cocktails, paired with a relaxed atmosphere and community feel.”
