A new taco restaurant is coming to downtown Lexington.
Colliers South Carolina’s Rox Pollard and John Gressette recently represented Barrio Tacos + Tequila + Whiskey in the lease of 2,837 square feet of restaurant space at 105 West Main St., Lexington.
“We are excited for our clients, Rich and Tina Kotlarek, to get their first Barrio Tacos location in South Carolina up and running,” Gressette said in a news release. “This has been a lifelong dream for the Kotlareks who have the Barrio francise rights for central South Carolina.”
Barrio Tacos was founded in Tremont, Ohio in 2012, and is known not only for its tacos but for a wide selection of whiskey, tequila and beer. The chain currently has 17 locations in six states. This will be the first location in South Carolina.
No specific opening date for the new restaurant has been announced.
Pollard is a vice president and director of retail services at Colliers, while Gressette is a brokerage associate.
