Multifamily housing industry career fair scheduled

The Apartment Association of Greater Columbia will hold its inaugural spring career fair on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the DoubleTree by Hilton at 2100 Bush River Road.

Multifamily housing companies will have representatives on site and job applications will be available.

“Career Fairs are great ways to interact with candidates before the hiring process begins,” career fair committee chair Joei Lemacks said in a news release. “It allows the candidates to see the company culture and us the opportunity get to know them before reading the resumes. I am excited to be launching this event and looking forward to the meeting the candidates.”

The Apartment Association of Greater Columbia is a trade association representing the interests of the Midlands multifamily industry. Its membership includes more than 400 apartment and management communities and vendors.

Positions available in the multifamily industry include office team members, maintenance staff, flooring technicians, drivers and temporary/seasonal employees.
