Parrish & Partners is state’s fastest-growing private company

Parrish and Partners, an engineering firm based out of Columbia, was ranked the fastest-growing private company in South Carolina in the 2018 Inc. 5000 list.

The company reported 3,422% growth over three years and $18.6 million in revenue, according to Inc. 5000’s rankings, putting it at No. 114 nationwide.

The annual list ranks the fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. based on three-year growth and revenue. Fifty-four S.C.-based companies made the Inc. 5000 this year.

Parrish and Partners, honored earlier this month as one of the state's best places to work by SC Biz News and the S.C. Chamber of Commerce, is a civil engineering firm that provides consulting services on transportation infrastructure projects. It ranked No. 8 in the state in the small/medium employer category, with its family-friendly culture and employee-centric programs cited.

UCW Logistics, a transportation and logistics company out of Greenville, ranked No. 2 statewide and No. 126 nationally for its 3,116% growth over three years. The Hiring Group, a staffing and recruiting firm out of Greer, ranked No. 3 statewide and No. 130 nationally with 3,055% growth over three years.

In the Lowcountry, the fastest-growing company was Charleston-based Gotcha Media Holdings, which was No. 4 among S.C. companies on the list with 1,955% growth in three years and $6.3 million in revenue.

SwanLeap, a Madison, Wis.-based logistics and transportation firm, was the fastest-growing private company in the U.S., according to the rankings. The company recorded more than 75,000% growth over three years and around $99 million in revenue last year.
