Richland Library is accepting applications for its next entrepreneur-in-residence.
The residency will begin in January 2021 and run until April and provide opportunities for aspiring as well as established businesspeople to connect with a local entrepreneurial expert.
The entrepreneur-in-residence will play host to one-on-one virtual mentoring sessions as well as work with library staff to develop online programming.
Karen R. Jenkins, president and CEO of KRJ Consulting LLC, was named the library’s entrepreneur-in-residence in August. Her residency ends Dec. 15.
Qualifications for the residence, which includes a monthly stipend, include a proven record of developing a successful small- to medium-sized business in Richland County and knowledge of essential criteria for business plan success.
The application deadline is Dec. 4. Applications are available online at https://www.richlandlibrary.com/work-for-us/entrepreneur-residence.
