A 49,450-square-foot office building in the St. Andrews submarket has sold for $3.1 million.
Colliers International’s Neel Keenan represented the seller, L-H Development Partners LLC, in the sale of 151 Westpark Blvd. to Westpark Reality LLC. The property, on 5.27 acres, is fully leased by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, according to a news release from Colliers.
“Colliers was committed to working through the process of exposing this property to the investment market with limited and safe showings in an uncertain period and state of the nation,” Mike Penland, general partner of L-H Development, said in the release. “Despite the threat of COVID-19 to the economy, Colliers was able to produce multiple offers in a short period of time that resulted in a quick sale of the property.”
Colliers South Carolina’s real estate management services provided property management of the building for L-H Development Partners and will continue to do so for the new owner.
Keenan is a senior vice president in Colliers South Carolina’s Columbia office specializing in the sale and acquisition of investment properties.
Lexington County School District Two has purchased 26.52 acres of developable land on Platt Springs Road in West Columbia for $1.3 million.
NAI Columbia’s Ben Kelly, Patrick Chambers and Jack Springs represented the sellers in the transaction. The 12 parcels of contiguous property are located half a mile from the Platt Springs and Wattling Road intersection and in close proximity to Columbia Metropolitan Airport.
“Our team was able to get the property under contract within 45 days of listing to Lexington County School District Two,” Chambers, NAI Columbia senior broker and principal, said in a news release. “This was the former site of the Long Branch Dairy Farm owned by the Roof family. The Long Branch (Springdale) community is very important to this family and we are thrilled to have procured a buyer that will continue to use the property to serve the community for many years to come.”s
