Frontier Airlines said today it will bring two more nonstop flights to Charleston International Airport, launching flights to Austin, Texas, and Trenton, N.J., in April.
The low-fare carrier will operate the only nonstop flights from Charleston to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and to Trenton-Mercer Airport. The flights are seasonal, with Trenton service beginning April 8 and Austin service beginning April 10; an end date has not been determined, a company spokesman said.

Overall, Frontier will be launching nonstop flights between Charleston and five destinations in the first half of 2018, starting with flights to Denver and Philadelphia on Feb. 20. Flights to Chicago start May 11.
Helen Hill, CEO of the Charleston Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, said: “It is always exciting to open new nonstop markets to Charleston. Our vibrant hospitality industry embraces nonstop air service, especially to regions of the country where we see demand but no air service.”
