Tanger Outlets, Charleston is set to open two new retailers in the coming months.

Vera Bradley, a designer of women's cotton quilted handbags and accessories, luggage and travel items, eyewear, stationery and gifts, will open in Suite 371, next to Cole Haan, in April.

Palmetto Moon will open in Suite 801, across from Lucky Brand Jeans, in the summer. The shop sells apparel, footwear, eyewear, specialty gifts, and accessories from Southern brands including Peach State Pride, Yeti, Southern Marsh, Simply Southern, Columbia, Jack Rogers, Costa, Scout, Rainbow Sandals, Tervis, Sperry, Guy Harvey.

The North Charleston Dream Center is holding a ladies dress sale from 4 to 6:30 p.m. March 2 to benefit Cinderella Day, an event that provides girls from different socioeconomic backgrounds with all they need for prom, including dresses, accessories, hair and makeup.

Dresses at the sale include date night dresses, work dresses, cocktail dresses and mother-of-the-bride dresses. All dresses are $5, shoes are $2 per pair and jewelry is $1. Sales are cash or check only.
