Construction is underway on the new Oakway Tractor facility off U.S. Highway 123 and Richland Road in Seneca. The 14,650-square-foot facility will serve as a new Kubota dealership for Oconee County, and will consist of a showroom, a parts pickup department, offices and an equipment maintenance shop, according to a news release.

Oakway Tractor currently has a facility at 5671 West Oak Highway in Westminster. The company will move to the new location once construction is complete this summer, the release said.

“Not only will the new office afford Oakway Tractor a higher visibility in the community, it will allow us to service a much wider market and variety of new customers,” Jimmy Myers, owner and president of Oakway Tractor, said in the release. “We can’t wait to introduce our new home to the community.”

J. Davis Construction is the general contractor on the project.
